Installation instructions:

Sims3Pack Custom Content
(EA Content, i.e. households, sims, patterns, lots, etc.)
Extract files in desired location. Place Custom Content files in

C Drive>>Documents>>Electronic Arts>>The Sims 3>>Downloads
Run Launcher.
Click install.

Or simply double-click and launcher will automatically begin installation.

.Sim Files
(Saved Sim Blueprint Files)
Extract files in desired location. Place Custom Content files in

C Drive>>Documents>>Electronic Arts>>The Sims 3>>Saved Sims
Launch game. Go to CAS (Create A Sim), select premade Sims.
*note Sims are divided by gender and age group, also there is a custom filter.

.Sims3 Files
(Save Games, often used for 'premade neighborhoods')
Extract files in desired location. Place Custom Content files in

C Drive>>Documents>>Electronic Arts>>The Sims 3>>Saves
Launch Game. Choose your new saved file as your active game.

PACKAGE Files
(Everything else, does not require launcher to install, not EA approved)
Extract files in desired location. Place Custom Content files in

C Drive>>PROGRAMS>>Electronic Arts>>Sims 3>>Mods>>Packages
(if folder does not exist, then create one, make certain you place in Programs NOT Documents!)
You will need to download Resource.cfg and install it in
C Drive>>PROGRAMS>>Electronic Arts>>Sims 3
(This does NOT overwrite any existing Resource.cfg file, if you did, you effed your game, reinstall it. Do NOT put this file any deeper into your folders, follow directions please!)
Load your game, item(s)/mods should take effect, no need to install. You will have to manually uninstall mods by simply removing from that folder.

Alternately, you can use the Install Helper Monkey, which is way easier and is a very nice program which makes installing a bunch of mods at once easier as well.

GillianIvy uses KittyKlan's tattoo slot accessories assignments so the are compatible.  If there are any exceptions, I will post accordingly.

Tattoos are located in the accessory tab.
Kitty Klan is using the following tattoo placement conventions:
